In short. Remood is a marketing agency in Egypt. We handle two kinds of personal data: information about the clients we work for, and messages sent by members of the public to our clients' social media accounts, which we may answer on their behalf using an automated assistant. We do not sell data, we do not use it to train AI models, and anyone can ask us to delete theirs.
Remood ("we", "us") is a creative marketing and production agency operating in Cairo, Egypt. We act as a data processor on behalf of our clients for messages sent to their social media accounts, and as a data controller for our own business records.

When you send a direct message to an Instagram or Facebook account we manage, we receive:
We receive this through Meta's official APIs, only for accounts whose owner has authorised us, and only while that authorisation is active.
Business contact details, brand information, and the commercial records needed to run an agency relationship.
Employment records held for HR and payroll purposes, accessible only to authorised staff.
We do not use your messages to train AI models, sell them, or share them for advertising.
Some replies from our clients' accounts are generated automatically. Where a client has enabled it, the first reply in a conversation says so. Message text may be sent to a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) purely to generate that reply. These providers process the text on our instruction and, under their business terms, do not use it to train their models.
You can ask for a human at any time — say so in the conversation and it will be passed to a person.
We never share your data with other clients, and never sell it.
Conversation records are kept for a retention period set per client, by default 90 days, after which they are deleted. Business and employment records are kept as long as Egyptian law requires.
You can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to info@remood.agency and we will respond within 30 days. For deletion specifically, see our data deletion instructions.
Data is held on access-controlled servers. Credentials for connected social accounts are stored write-only — they can be used by our systems but not read back by staff. Access to client and employee data is restricted by role.
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we hold data about a child, contact us and we will delete it.
